Rogers, P.I. (page 16)

In which Mr. Rogers sings a song.
I know what you’re thinking: How in god’s name do you play a 7-note chord like a C13#9 on a 4-string ukulele? Well it’s easy. You simply drop the root (he’s singing it anyway) and also drop the 5th and 11th, leaving you with just the major 3rd, major 6th, minor 7th, and sharp 9th (so on the uke, he’s playing B-flat, E, A, and D-sharp, while singing the C). It’s a nice gnarly dominant chord with some stank on it to take you back to the tonic. OK thanks.
